About Exam Photo & Signature Resizer

Resize your photo and signature to the exact pixels and file size an exam form asks for. Presets cover SSC, IBPS and SBI, UPSC, NEET and JEE Main — photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration — and Custom handles any other notice. Crop with a box that keeps the right shape, clean up the signature's background, and add your name and date under the photo.

How Exam Photo & Signature Resizer works

Exam Photo & Signature Resizer crops your picture with a box that keeps the exact shape the exam asks for, then draws it at the required pixel size. It saves a JPG at the highest quality that stays under the maximum file size, testing quality levels until it finds the best fit.

If the picture is so small or plain that even the best quality stays under the minimum size, the tool adds invisible padding inside the JPG file (a comment segment that image viewers ignore) so portals that check a minimum accept it. Clean white background evens out grey or shadowed paper behind a signature, and the name and date option prints them in a white band below the photo, as some exams require. Everything runs in your browser.

When to use Exam Photo & Signature Resizer

  • Upload your photo and signature for SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS or GD.
  • Prepare the photo, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration for IBPS or SBI bank exams.
  • Resize your photo for UPSC, NEET or JEE Main applications.
  • Fix a signature photographed on grey or lined paper.

Frequently asked questions

What if my file is smaller than the minimum size?

Some portals reject files below a minimum such as 20 KB. When even the best quality stays smaller, the tool adds harmless padding inside the JPG so the file reaches the minimum; the picture itself is unchanged.

Are these sizes correct for my exam?

They are the common sizes from recent notifications, but each exam can change its rules. Check the photo and signature section of your notification, and use Custom if it differs.

My photo has a coloured background. Is that a problem?

Most exams want a light, plain background. Use Remove Background first to put the photo on white, then resize it here.

Can I use a photo taken with my phone?

Yes. Stand in front of a plain wall in good light, take the photo at eye level, and crop it here so the face fills most of the frame.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Cropping, resizing and compressing all happen in your browser.

Is Exam Photo & Signature Resizer free?

Yes. Exam Photo & Signature Resizer on DocEpic is free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it. The site is supported by ads.

Are my files safe with Exam Photo & Signature Resizer?

Yes. Exam Photo & Signature Resizer runs entirely in your web browser, so your files never leave your device and are never uploaded to us.

Do I need to install any software?

No. Exam Photo & Signature Resizer works in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone.

Is there a file size limit?

Files up to 25 MB are accepted. Because the work happens on your device, very large files depend on your device's memory.
